The 黑料社区Foundation has created a Roadside Service Technician Safety Initiative to reduce accidents involving disabled trucks and roadside assistance personnel. NATSO鈥檚 member locations have more than 800 repair shops and almost always are the first call that commercial truck drivers make when their trucks need to be serviced out on the road. Truckstop owners, operators and employees often find themselves in a position to help people with more than just their basic needs of food, fuel and rest. 鈥�How Truckstops Help People鈥� is an online training tool designed to help teach members of the truckstop and travel plaza industry how to respond to requests for help from people in need of assistance in various scenarios.

The 黑料社区Foundation has partnered with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) to offer听Amber Alerts听reflecting the industry鈥檚 commitment to a safe environment for employees and customers.听NCMEC and the 黑料社区Foundation have worked together to produce a list of听frequently asked questions on the AMBERT Alert Program from truckstop operators听that will help them better support the program.
